Global Sidebar Settings #

Global sidebar settings affect all pages and determine your default sidebar settings. If you have not defined a custom sidebar setting for a page, these settings will apply.

Step 1 – Navigate to the Theme Options page from the WordPress dashboard.

Step 2 – Open the ‘Layout’ section.

Step 3 – You can customize all sidebars settings from this section.

In addition, each post type has its own sidebar settings in its own section. For example, you can find page sidebar settings in the ‘Pages’ pane. If you have custom post types, you can also navigate to the sections of these custom post types and find the sidebar settings.

Custom Sidebar Settings for Pages/Posts #

When editing a post or page, there is a page settings section. From this section, you can define sidebar settings specific to that page.
